Functional explanation

SliderObject is a linear analog control for numeric variables. It is commonly used for percentages, analog outputs, and simple setpoint adjustments.

The control gives the operator a visible scale and is useful when relative position matters as much as the exact number. It is a practical choice for controls that should be easy to move and easy to read.

Keep enough width so small adjustments remain practical and the feedback text stays readable.

Variable / Expression

Configure the variable or expression bound to the slider value.

SettingDescriptionExampleUnits
Variable / ExpressionVariable or expression bound to the slider value. The displayed value uses the Format of the variable when it has one, for example 47.9 for 47.8912345 with Format 0.0; the slider writes the value itself. While the thumb is dragged, the text shows the position as it is moved.PLC1.SpeedSetpointExpression
