The Special Days page, opened with the Special Days button in the toolbar of the Schedules configuration page, defines named lists of dates on which schedules do not run: public holidays, plant shutdowns, maintenance days or any other day a site wants to exclude. A list is any name; a project typically keeps one list per country and year, for example Belgium public holidays 2026, and separate lists for site-specific days, for example Plant shutdown 2026.

A schedule selects a list in the Skip special days setting of its calendar rule and does not execute on the dates of that list. The Scheduler object shows the dates of the selected list in its Week and Month views.

Special Day Settings

Create a new special day with the Add button in the toolbar. Enter the List, the Date and optionally the Name and press Create. The List field offers the existing list names; entering a new name creates a new list.

The row shows List, Date and Name directly and these values can be edited in place. Press the Settings icon on a row to open the edit dialog. Press Save to apply the changes.

Notes

The Import button accepts a CSV or JSON file with the columns ListName, Date and Name. An existing (List, Date) pair is updated, other rows are added. The Export buttons write the same format, so a national holiday list can be prepared once and imported into other projects.

A schedule whose list is deleted from this page runs on every date again. The Schedules page refuses to save a schedule that names a list that does not exist.

Special days are part of the project export and the Git project files (specialdays.json).
