Object Control Access

Object Control Access lets you block object interaction and apply a visual filter when an access expression evaluates to true.

Overview

The right to write a variable is configured by setting the UserGroups on each variable throughout the system.

Object Control Access allows you to grey out or blur an object when a defined condition is met. When the expression returns true, the object is locked and its user action will no longer trigger.

Filter behavior

You can change the filter applied to the object when access control locks it.

Many CSS filter options are supported. Configure the Access Control Filter value to define the visual effect that is shown during the locked state.

Example expressions

If you want to grey out the object for certain groups, you can use expressions such as the following.
